Gökova Stone Houses, Muğla

Design Concept & Program
Set within a 5,000 m² (1.24 acres / 53,820 sq ft) olive grove in Gökova, Muğla, this enclave comprises three detached single-story residences designed for three distinct clients. Built with traditional load-bearing stonework and exposed laminated timber roof structures, the architecture honors regional craft traditions.
While presenting the modest, earthbound profile of classic Aegean village dwellings on the exterior, the interiors reveal dramatic 5-meter soaring timber ceilings that cultivate generous, luminous living volumes. DG Tasarım directed all phases from architectural concept and approvals to on-site general contracting and craftsmanship.
